    Food supply program, food aid and public procurement, which aims to fight hunger and poverty in Brazil. It was launched in 2003 to benefit family farmers, beneficiaries of land reform, indigenous and other traditional peoples and communities or rural family businesses with DAP (Declaration of Aptitude from PRONAF) and people living in food and nutrition insecurity and those attended by the social assistance network and the food and nutrition teams.

    This is a school feeding program that aims to improve the nutritional status of students in order to promote better learning conditions, through a daily snack, served in the early hours of the day, focusing on improvements in the rates of attendance and permanence in the school system, becoming an incentive for parents to send their children to school. It is implemented by the Ministry of Education.

    Programa Nacional de Alimentación Escolar Qali Warma

    The National School Feeding Program, implemented in 2012 by the Ministry of Development and Social Inclusion, is intended to provide food service quality, suited for local consumption habits, co-managed with the community, sustainable and healthy for children in initial levels of education from the ages of 3 and for primary levels of basic education in public educational institutions. The program operates throughout the national territory divided into eight food regions, each with a shared culinary identity, according to their geographical, social, cultural, economic and ecological characteristics.

    Program for Food Production Development and Family Farming, of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock, is a framework program in which institutional services are organized: Technical assistance in organization, production, commercialization; rural education and; incentive transference. Through this Program, it is intended to improve the availability and access to quality food, in quantity and with safety in farms; this is accomplished by increasing productivity, sustainable and diversified production, commercialization and strengthening human and social capital.

    Programme National des Cantines Scolaires

    Programa de alimentación escolar de Haití, creado en julio de 1997. En el año escolar 2015-2016, se estima que alrededor de 867.000 niños y niñas en edad escolar reciben alimentación escolar. Pese a la importancia de la alimentación escolar en las políticas nacionales, el PNCS no se encuentra verdaderamente institucionalizado en las estructuras de gobierno. Numerosas ONGs y congregaciones religiosas intervienen en la alimentación escolar sin relacionarse con instituciones gubernamentales, en su mayoría con apoyo de financiamiento extranjero. Dichos actores representan financiamientos significativos y no contabilizado del sector.
