FNS related programs in Guyana
This is a nutritional Program that has as components the attention of maternal and child anemia; the development of the national strategy for promoting growth and nutritional surveillance; child health interventions; and information campaigns and nutritional education.
This program aims to improve social and economic conditions of households, particularly for small farmers, women and indigenous peoples, through strategies that include: increased access to markets for small producers; enhanced, efficient and effective production capabilities; strengthening of rural services; increasing access to financial capital; and human capacity building at the community level.
