Avancemos Program
It is a conditional cash transfer program created in 2008: it aims to promote the retention and reintegration into the formal education system of adolescents and youth from families who are struggling to keep their children in the education system due to economic reasons. It contributes by increasing families’ income, promoting access to education and universal access to secondary school, reducing poverty, reverse the number of students behind in grade, prevent school failure and prevent child labor.

Components and/or products | Conditional Cash Transfer The program provides a monthly cash transfer per child who is enrolled in any of the forms of formal secondary public education. The transfer amount varies according to the level of education completed by the child:

There is no limit to the number of students a family applies for, regarding the AVANCEMOS Program, as long they meet the requirements. |
