Jamaica Emergency Employment Programme
This program is designed to respond to the situation of chronic unemployment of some Jamaicans, particularly those who are vulnerable, people with special needs, those with low levels of education, of the community.

Respond to the chronic unemployment situation faced by some Jamaicans, mostly people of low socioeconomic status, with special needs or without skill development.

The program offers short-term jobs to people in vulnerable situations.
The program outputs are 63 projects in different districts of the island, these projects include:

From 2012 to 2014 approximately 42,000 Jamaicans are recorded to have obtained jobs through the program.
