About the program

With the CRISSOL program, the government seeks to restore the rights of farming families, which are impoverished, by providing financial resources to purchase seed grains such as beans, corn, rice, tortilla sorghum and tools they use, to ensure planting on their land.

  • Maintain sustainable food production for the community,
  • Maintain stability in the prices of basic grains,
  • Prevent small rural farmers from being exposed to constant price changes in the markets and, also, to have the option to export to other countries.
Components and/or products

Financing and loans: Delivery of loans at low interest rates and payment facilities.

Technical assistance and training: Technical assistance, which seeks to strengthen knowledge, improves quality and increases production of crops of basic grains.

Target population

Small producers of basic grains at a national level, which are not creditworthy by other financial institutions because they do not have established credit demands and requirements.
