Agricultural Export Diversification Program
This program aims to sustainably increase revenues from non-traditional agricultural exports in aquaculture, fruits and vegetables, and the sub-sectors of livestock.

Establish services and institutions that foster a sustainable increase in income from non-traditional agricultural exports from sub-sectors of aquaculture, fruits and vegetables, and livestock, strengthening the protection of domestic consumers against disease and domestic production against disease and pollution.

PROMOTING ENTREPRENEURSHIP OF THE PRIVATE SECTOR IN AGRIBUSINESS
It encourages initiatives that strengthen entrepreneurship in the agribusiness conglomerate. It also supports the implementation of institutional mechanisms for the promotion and management of an agricultural diversification strategy.
Promotion and consolidation of agribusiness: This subcomponent aims to support the establishment of working groups and the implementation of activities for the promotion and consolidation of three agribusiness conglomerates: (i) fruits and vegetables; (ii) livestock; and (iii) aquaculture. It also funds the provision of public goods (collective) necessary for the implementation of the strategic plans into each cluster. The main tasks that are financed are: (i) training and exchange of knowledge aimed at small groups of farmers; (Ii) technical assistance provided by technicians involved in the export process; (Iii) identification of market activities in order to identify potential buyers in importing countries and facilitate trade arrangements between these buyers and the exporters from Guyana; (Iv) establishment of partnerships for research and development; (V) implementation of technology missions aimed at increasing knowledge of agro-industrial processors and farmers on modern technologies through the organization of group visits to production sectors of countries with similar growth conditions; and (vi) creation of a program to improve food quality through the introduction of the hazard analysis and critical control points (HACCP) protocols and quality assurance. The program funds, among others, training, consulting services and agricultural inputs.
Support for the implementation of agro plans: The purpose of this subcomponent is to support members of the working groups on (i) the preparation of its agribusiness plans; and (ii) financial assistance for its implementation. Eligible projects must focus on an opportunity that is offered by a non-traditional market within the selected clusters.
Private sector involvement in agribusiness facilities: Financing for design, construction, equipment and operation of a basic slaughterhouse, built to cover a minimum efficient economic scale of up to 12,000 head / year.
EXPORT FACILITATION SERVICES AND AGRIBUSINESS
This component focuses on strengthening public services needed to support clusters of selected agro-industrial production, specifically (i) the development and transfer of technology; (Ii) market access services; and (iii) access to land.
Support for the development and transfer of technology: The objective of this subcomponent is to provide the National Agricultural Research Institute (NARI) and the National Dairy Development Program (NDDP) with the ability to acquire, disseminate and act as the depositary of the genetic material introduced to country, relevant technologies and best practices necessary to develop production clusters as requested by working groups supported under promoting the entrepreneurship component of the private sector in agribusiness.
Facilitation of operations: The main items that are financed under this subcomponent are: consulting services, travel, information subscription services, software and field work.
STRENGTHENING AND CONSOLIDATION OF AGRICULTURAL HEALTH AND FOOD SAFETY
The purpose of this component is to improve the efficiency of the units of animal health, plant health and food safety in the Ministries of Agriculture and Health, through its transformation into an integrated system of protection for domestic consumers against disease and for domestic production against diseases and pollution, while ensuring that Guyana's exports meet international standards. The component was designed to establish and strengthen the system and ensure that the policy and regulations are being coordinated, as well as the use of resources of all the institutions involved. This integrated system makes up the basis for the implementation of modern and specialized semi-autonomous entities.
INFRASTRUCTURE REHABILITATION FOR DRAINAGE AND IRRIGATION
This component will finance the rehabilitation of infrastructure for drainage and irrigation in the Polder Canals area. Based on an analysis of feasibility and an engineering design, these works include primary and secondary drainage and irrigation canals and water control structures. The following will be rehabilitated: (i) 55 km of primary channels; (Ii) 220 km of secondary channels; (Iii) 86 km of service roads; (Iv) a pumping station; (V) 130 gates.
